Having only cooked for himself for a majority of his life, in his own mind Osamu is an excellent cook though in the opinion's of others; his cooking is a tasteless lava of spice. In the beginning Osamu had a mediocre life, the offspring between a Japanese woman, and an American navy man; a man of whom for a majority of his young life Osamu saw little of. While in those early first years his father was a loving man, yet he changed into a coward, and a drunkard being at the time of Osamu's tenth birthday, having been discharged after nearly beating a superior officer half to death due to an arguement. Ironically the increased togetherness that his Mother had been praying for would be the very thing to dissolve their marriage. Realizing that the man she had fallen in love with was long gone, and was replaced with a stranger owning a familiar face, it didnt take long for Osamu's mother to gather up their things, and fly them home to Japan.
